Our hearts are with those who lost their lives in the recent tragedies that shook London. I am personally outraged and believe we have all been moved by such indiscriminate and barbaric atrocities.

Having lived in London nearly all my life I feel as though I have lost a part of me although I am sure that the wonderful people of London and all of us will overcome this incident and become stronger as a nation as our previous generations have overcome the Second World War.

We the British people including Muslims, Christians, Jews and people of all faiths and backgrounds are proud to be British and we are proud to be part of the democracy and freedom that we value so highly.

May God grant us patience especially to those who lost their loved ones in this tragedy amd may justice prevail - promptly and swiftly.
