Sami Yusuf an unknown name to the nasheed world released
his first album Al-Muallim with a
very positive start. He performed a few
tracks from his new album Al-Muallim
which received a very warm welcome from
the audience at the Living Islam camp.
The photographs
to the left show Sami at his Lincolnshire
concert performing in front of 7,000 people.
The name of the
album Al Mu'allim literally stands for 'The
Teacher' referring to the beloved Prophet
Muhammad (pbuh).
Sami has been
working on this album for nearly a year.
Muhammad (pbuh) has always been very close
to Samis heart and he felt his first
album should begin with the prophet as a
sign of showing respect and love.
After special
request Sami performed his track debut track
Allahu and Ya Mustafa. The response from
the audience was a strong indication that
Sami Yusuf will go on to win the hearts
of people.
Sami concluded
the show with a joint performance of Tala
al-Badru Alayna by all artists.
