Sami Yusuf an unknown name to the nasheed world released his first album Al-Mu’allim with a very positive start. He performed a few tracks from his new album Al-Mu’allim which received a very warm welcome from the audience at the Living Islam camp.

The name of the album Al Mu'allim literally stands for 'The Teacher' referring to the beloved Prophet Muhammad (pbuh).

Sami has been working on this album for nearly a year. Muhammad (pbuh) has always been very close to Sami’s heart and he felt his first album should begin with the prophet as a sign of showing respect and love.

After special request Sami performed his track debut track Allahu and Ya Mustafa. The response from the audience was a strong indication that Sami Yusuf will go on to win the hearts of people.

Sami concluded the show with a joint performance of Tala al-Badru Alayna by all artists.
